Hogpro had it right ,it was leaking where the valve stem attaches to the tube I am just thankfull it did not leave us stranded. We put on alot of miles this week.
Off to the dealer I went with wife following behind me with the air compressor, what pissed me off is I just had the rear tire and rear brakes done two weeks ago,it cost me 720.00 at the dealer in good old Canada, why he would not have replaced the tube at the time I do not know.
Just had my rear tire replaced a couple of weeks ago.
I told the dealer that the rear tube was good because I had a flat last year and it was replaced at that time.
The dealer told me that they add $32 for every tire change for a new tube and that charge is there whether or not I want them to put in a new tube
He then said in other words if you want us to replace your tire, you're going to get a new tube regardless of when the old tub was replaced.
When replacing a tube be sure you get an American or Eureopean one. No China crap. They weigh about 1/2 as much and are very prone to unexplained failure. Most dealers will use the china junk if you dont specify.Maybe even if you do.
Good luck.
