Good choice for your first Harley! I just got my first HD also in januaryand it just happens to be the same bike and coloryou bought. I changed the bars to 1 1/4" and a little taller and did internal wiring and braided cables, chrome switch housings, switches and levers. I think i made a mistake getting the SE slip ons though, not at all what I expected! Oh and if you decide to remove the tank for any wiring changes don't forget to turn off the open flame heater that's heating the garage before you pull the crossover line off!!!! (not that I know from experience[sm=yikesomg.gif]) congrats on the new ride!!

It's supposed to get to 50 deg this monday coming up , I may try to go for my first short ride ! The roads are all dry so there is no salt to worry about

Hey snow isn't all bad...I have to travel to slopes out West hundreds of miles to play in it.

If they have used ANY salt or sand on the roads this winter be VERY careful going around corners or near the sides of the road.
That kind of junk tends to pile up there andcan be just as bad as ice.
