I'd like to find some OEM chromed risers to use on my BO in order to move slightly rearward the stock dragbars. I don't like spacers, adore my 1,25' dragbars (soon chromed) and hopefully not changing cables/lines since I just bought stock lenght braided Diamondback cables. Stock risers, if I remember well, should be 4' tall and 1,15' pullback so I suppose 5'-5,25' tall and 2'-2,25' pullback should move dragbars enough rearward and giving sufficient clearance between tank console and speedo, am I right? Any issues with speedo upper clamp mounting? I'm not so much into risers so any help or suggestion would really be highly appreciated.
I don't believe you will find that anywhere. Finding 1.25" risers is hard enough. You will also need to find risers that you can use the lower half with your upper half, unless you plan to relocate the speedometer. You are either going to have to run spacers, or have something custom made I believe.

Yeah, I knew it would have been a problem...
Can't really understand why the MoCo didn't realize the need of this kind of part, it would have been one of the "best sellers", at least between those who decide to keep the stock dragbars.
Custom made, uh? Do you know someone who can do this? Might be an interesting option, expensive but interesting...
I would contact Hardtail Choppers. That guy is cool. He made some custom bars for me on my Blackline, and they looked great. I spoke with him before about making some lower 1/2 risers and he was game. His name is John. http://www.hardtailchoppers.com/
Many thanks 24V! I can always count on you!
I'll study how to do them and the best looking option. So far I like the way stock ones are made, I mean with a wider part at the bottom. Also slotted type is not bad at all....might consider this option too.
I've used a 1' chromed extension for the riser and have enough room to raise the gas tank 1" in front and 3/4" in back without affecting cables, brake line or wiring. Now I'm able to clean the engine from top to bottom. In addition, if you remove the horn bracket and mount the horn to the same hole in the frame, you're able to access the front of the engine for cleaning.
