It is finally done, I pick her up tomorrow. The fender swap was done before the wreck, and I went with the same bars. Mods during the rebuild were:
RSD nostalgia black ops cam, tranny, derby, rocker box, and front MC covers
black worx front shock
Metz 880 150 in front 200 in rear
Wild 1 Outlawz in 14"
Bassani 2-1
103" with Woods 555
shadetree rear fender
HD sprung solo saddle
covered the frame cover for seat kit in leather and filled in the gap so it could be used without the second piece for the ECM
Paint by O's custom paint in TN. This dude is top knotch!!!
here are the pics. They are iphone pics, get some better ones when its all cleaned up
Awesome man just awesome. Always look forward to your pictures. If you got the cash I say go internal throttle and jockey. How do you like riding with no front fender? Did you buy the spacer?
no spacer, I just cut the bracket. I only got about 100 miles on it with no front fender before the wreck. Never had any issues but didn't get caught in the rain either. I thought about the internal throttle and jockey. The internal throttle may happen eventually, but not the jockey I don't think. I wanted to, but even the 96" with the Woods cams made staying on that seat difficult. I can't imagine now that its a 103" We'll see. If I don't do the jockey, no real point in the internal throttle since I would still have a clutch cable.
Gotta say, the crossbones is probably my favorite HD so far. That being said... not the way I would have gone with it, but you didn't build it for me, so.... enjoy it... that's all that matters.
