03 Deuce
Had to remove Harley Boom Audio system which involved removing the tank and I didn't disconnect anything else aside from the connections under the bezel and the tank connections. After I put everything back together it seemed to work fine as I made sure to put zip ties and such back in place. I have a Dakota Digital gauge for my Deuce and the first thing I noticed Monday on the way home from work was the left front signal acting funny, and the Dakota Digital gauge working, but not tracking speed so when I got home, I took off the bezel, disconnected the connections, re-seated them and tested the bike and the gauge worked properly as did the signal till I stopped completely and left from another location. At this point I repeated the process on Tuesday after work having taken the jeep to work. Rode the bike to work Wednesday with no problems and after work it was fine until I got about 5 minutes from work and I lost all electrical and the bike shut down as I was doing about 60. Pulled into McDonalds, took off the bezel and re-seated the connections again and rode home fine. What am I missing here? please help!

 

Check to make sure a ground that you didn't see didn't come undone somewhere under there. My best guess.

 

I am going to take the tank back off tomorrow and re trace everything.
