I'm placing an order for a new Breakout. It will be the 2014MY model which I believe will be available towards the end of August.
My dealer has a black demo model and up to now black has been my preference.
Thing is I'm aware that hardy candy chrome flake will be available in the Breakout and I'm tempted by it but as I can't imagine what it will be like I'm afraid to take the plunge.
I'd have to see it on the bike before committing. Just my opinion. Some colors look great until u see them on a bike.
Black is a safe choice. Problem is the Breakout is sold out in the UK and there will be another allocation in August. I'm afraid that if I don't place an order now they'll sell out again.
I'm in little doubt that the paintwork will be first class, it would help even if I could see another model in the chrome flake.

Where did you hear this? I've been waiting to hear about the 2014 colors.
I like the blue they have now... but blue is my color...
But I finally laid eyes on a cvo bike Saturday at our poker run... and wow. Beautiful. It was the black/mirror finish color... but I will say the cvo wheels are stunning. Really make the bike....
My only complaints. Licence plate needs to be flipped 90*... and not sure how I feel about a softail with speedo on the bars....
All I know if it was blue with cvo wheels I'd probably own it
I'd be a little uneasy about ordering it without seeing it on a bike first. A salesman showed me a pic of the blue denim they were coming out with in the new color chart a number of years back and I remember thinking it looked nice. It was God awful when I saw it on a bike.
