Any modifications needed to use the Kury lay down plate frame on a Fat Boy?
Any extra drilling, scratching the fender etc. ?
And does it fit well on a Fat Boy?

I put the Kuryakyn curved, lay down plate on my Heritage. I did it without a lift. If I can do it, well, it must be pretty easy.

I believe the Kury was my first mod.
Simple installation and cleans the rear up nicely.

I think i also gained a few HP from it, lmao

Think mine is the Kury. No lift required or mods to holes. Tight fit but even with my clunky hands I could do it. My only problem was my NYS plate didn't fit so well and it required some mods with tin snips.

I used the J&P cycles one. Product 691-231. $26.99 for gold club
Perfect fit. No lift needed.

probably not as good as stock. but I'm hoping most vehicle operators are using headlights anyways ha!
and as long as I don't get a ticket for it, I could care less how well my plate is lit up.
