Very nice! Said it before, if I fit on one I'd buy one. Good luck with your new ride!

Congrats on the new bike. I love the look of the Breakout. Would love to have one if I could afford a 2nd bike, but can barely afford my RKC. Enjoy and ride safe.

Really nice bike, congrats on the purchase, its nice to see HD changing things up a little and trying to mimmick the jap style cruisers instead of the other way around for once.

Default Some modifications..

Here are some modifications my husband made today:

New air filter, mirrors, mini floor boards, shifter peg... and now modifying the standard exhaust. The original mirrors did not work very well.

This afternoon i took the bike out on the freeway for its first test drive. The first kilometer or so I negotiated afternoon traffic with lots of stops and very slow traffic. The first time I stepped on the brakes, i was amazed at how the 308 kg bike eased into a a complete stop! The gear shifts were smooth and the handling was much better than what i experienced on the Wide Glide. Turning corners was very easy as the bike turned in much sharper than what i was used to. The bike feels planted, the riding position is perfect and those drag bars makes for very comfortable reach. The bike fits me like a glove - I felt at ease and very safe. Replacing the mirrors will enhance the rear view and adds even more chrome to the already ample supply of chrome finish. Overall I could feel that i am riding a bike that has technically evolved since the 2010 Wide Glide - I was particularly impressed with the ABS braking system and after watching the supplied DVD on the brakes, I will now be able to handle tricky road conditions with more confidence and assurance.

I loved my Wide Glide and every kilometer was pure joy - the Breakout will have to prove itself in the coming months to be a contender for my biker's heart!! So far the bike gets full marks for looks and riding position... I am happy!

IMO that's one of the best looking bikes ever made, period. Be safe and enjoy your bike!
