Posted earlier but poor subject and little reply. Currenty have no pegs or floorboards. Will the stock passengerpegs work with the HD tool boxes? Doesn't look like they can fold up. What are you guys doing with passenger floorboards when using tool boxes?
Not sure about pegs but not problem with the leather tool bags and the stock passenger boards on my Heritage. Went with the Kury adjustable passenger pegs and they do hit the bag when fully back so I just took the bags off for now.
Wondering myself if the hard chome metal boxes are thinner than the leather bags and would be clear of the pegs?
i have HD toolboxes on both sides and only needed one extension (left side) as I recall. I turned the pegs 90 degress to fold backwards instead of up. This was a no-brainer once you have them in place. Simple task
