Default ricor intiminators question

I have a deuce with led headlight I have it adjusted where I want it but under hard exceleration the forks extend and bike shines light into oncoming cars (not good). My question how well do the ricors stop fork extension?

The work very good!!! Just installed them and very happy. Reduced brake dive, smoother ride and the front end does not come up, or very little, when accelerating. Im runnin them with stock springs but will probably go back in and stiffen the springs up a bit by removing 5-10% spring length and using a spacer. Be sure to set sag correctly.

while reading about the ricor intiminators one of the recommendations i often see is to change the springs to a single rate spring that is specific to your bike and riders weight.

The oem springs in my 06 are single rate although for a lighter rider. Many have gone to racetech springs and installed the recommended spring rate. Although, some thought the ride was a little too firm and wished they had gone one softer. With a single rate spring, if you cut off 5%, the spring will be ~5% stiffer. Im going for ~10% which will be noticeable and help keep the front of the bike where it should be.

I put these in my FXSTC and did not feel a noticeable difference. Four years ago when I put them in my sporty it was a huge improvement in reducing brake dive and making bike bounce less on rough roads. Thought it would be the came story in my FXSTC but was hugely disappointed.
