I have not seen one besides my own on the road. I have modified mine because I hope NEVER to see another one like mine! I have yet to ride anywhere that I am not asked "What is that?" Most people think it is a complete custom build.
I have seen one in the wild. It was at local dealership, guy said he brought it in because there was a problem with the throttle cable. The way it was routed it had actually rubbed through the paint on the right front of the tank! Less than 1k for miles on the bike, so for you guys riding breakouts, did you have a similar issue? Or was this just an incorrect routing at assembly? If it is a common problem, hopefully his pain can keep others from sharing in it!

I have only seen one since June when I purchased my own, that was a green CVO on RT 6w in pa this weekend. We rode together for about 100miles then parted ways at RT15. where you located HRCH
probably just because the other models have been around for so much longer. Even if the breakouts are outselling other models 2:1, the other models have been around for several years. Will take a while to make an impact on the population of the harley pool.
Yeah, just thought it was odd. For a bike that is selling well, where are they all at? While in upstate NY, I spoke to someone who wanted to buy a Breakout, he said, they are very hard to find here. He also mentioned that if you find one, the dealers are selling them at full retail plus dealer fees. When I bought my Breakout, I didn't even ask for any discount and I got it. I had already mentally prepared that I was going to pay full retail plus any and all dealer fees. I was only charged freight, $160 doc fee, tax, and tags. The dealer threw in the first service and took off $400 bucks of the bike.
I have been hitting the local bike nights in the essex county area and still havent seen 1 other breakout, cant say it upsets me bike really draws a crowd

Same here, I dealt with Garden State Harley Davidson (the old Kosco) they gave me my first service and threw in 500$ worth of store credit
I live in St Petersburg and commute daily to Bradenton and the only Breakout I've ever seen is mine. My dealer has only sold 1 and there's another on the showroom floor.
I live in CNY and drove to just outside of Pittsburgh to get mine bc of the BS the stealerships around here try to pull. Got a discount off the bike and they didn't tack 3% to the interest rate for financing through HD, free jacket and shirt, free sissy bar and 20% of the sundowner back seat
I have only seen 1 other running around and its a black CVO
Ironically after posting this thread I saw a Breakout. Guess where? My hometown. I was with my wife. We were waiting to turn onto the main road. It was dark outside but Im sure I caught a glimpse of a Harley Davidson Breakout . So, we quickly took off to be sure and yup, it was a newly purchased Breakout. It still had the dealer tag on the plate. It was from the same dealer where I purchased my Breakout, Williams Harley Davidson. This was the first non CVO Breakout I have seen away from the dealer. And the first one I have seen in my hometown. It was Black. The rider was wearing a black leather Willie G jacket. So, who ever you are, welcome to the Breakout family.
