You have the right in our country to wear a **** style helmet.
I have the right to say that I think that anybody who thinks that wearing such a helmet is cool or acceptable is an idiot.
But you have the right.

You realise it wasn't just ****'s that wore that helmet right? As a matter of fact the Germans weren't the only ones to wear it either. Shoot, I LIVE in Germany and see guys wearing them here.
...I dont understand why people get all bent out of shape over what others are wearing.
Been looking for a DOT approved German style helmet, but everyone I have tried made me look like Dark Helmet from Space *****. It sits high and looks huge.
Anyone know of brand that sits a little lower and is not as wide or huge looking?
I have a big head size 7 5/8 fitted to 7 3/4 (fits best) I have a bilt helmet from cycle gear I enjoy the best it is a 3/4 and not too bulky, however lifts at freeway speeds. A shoei qwest xl that is awesome but kinda throws me around on freeway but don't use windshield, the best small snell approved helmet I found. A hustler biltwell that is almost the same as the bilt one but more expensive. The Daytona German helmet and half helmet they make is an Xl that should fit me but I squeeze into the large to combat mushroom head. ( to answer your original question) like others may have said the Daytona is arguably the tightest fitting dot approved you'll find. Everyone I know just gets a novelty and puts a dot sticker on it.
I agree 100%, I never said one doesn't have the right to wear what they want and I or anyone else should not have the right to tell anyone what they can and can't wear. Like I said, it is what it is.

Why didn't you just say, "I have the right to say that I think that anybody who likes something I don't is an idiot"? Then, you can round them up for having different thoughts than yours and put them in camps. Then you can exterminate them. Now, tell me... what is more "****" like?
The OP didn't ask for anybody's opinion on if you like this or that.

Gotta agree with that...I have a Daytona half helmet which ain't exactly the so called '****' look but I think it's cool as hell(then again you could think it looks silly)there are plenty of helmets on Ebay fitting your requirement, you just need to look.

Good grief...go complain to your government...maybe they'll write a law for you.
