Default Why do I see

Water coming out of my mufflers after bike has sit all night and when i start it up for the first couple minute i see water puddles inside the mufflers at the opening? Also I have been noticing recently the inside of the mufflers at the openings the mufflers are rusted inside. Not your typical carbon black residue.
What is this all about?
Has been humid here the last couple days.
Is this a indicator of a bigger issue?

Water is a byproduct of combustion.

Cars, trucks, motorcycles...they all have that moisture build up in the exhaust.

Moisture build-up from heat cycles, environment etc. I see it around here in the very dry air in Denver.

Normal. That's why short trips aren't the best for any vehicle. Better to run it until everything warms up and that water burns off.

Thanks for the replies. Today wasn't nearly as humid and the swimming pools turned into small puddles when I first started the bike. Like you guys said looks normal.
Thanks again
