Sorry to see your bike still down, have you had it at dealer yet? Also let my temper flare up last night, we had post talking about fat boy's, like's dislike's, any way I said I like mine because of the 2 wide tire's front and back made ride more stable, and then I said I thought the harley's with skinny front tire and big tire on back made riding at high speed's dangerous because of high speed wobble, any way some goof came back and said he could leave me behind in twisty road's, he ride's new night train, so having bad day, bill's,wife, crap like that so I cut loss on him and said thing's that other people did not like, so now not wanted on forum, you know I have never dissed any one's bike, allway's tryed to give respect to people, but my temper got high and I was directing it at him but other's thougt I meant them too, i'm animal lover and he had aviator of dog's fighting, I guess he like's that, and that got to me, you know people who fight dog's till they kill one or other, I don't like that, but said thing's I should have not, but now he has changed his aviator to old man flipping both finger's at someone, so I think may go, I really wanted to meet and ride with you, e-mail me if you do.

no haze, i worked on it all day. the only thing i can figure is the ingnition box is bad. been looking at ebay and other places for a screaming eagle one. dont worry to much about last nights squabble. i also have lots of amimals, no need for that kind of cruelity as far as i concerned/ we will meet and ride as soon as i get this heap figured out, and wifes car quits breaking down and daughter dont have to travel so far to play a soccer game etc....etc....etc. someday soon i hope. hell its been so long since i have been the saddle. i forgot what its like

Have you checked all of the connections?Spark plug wires?Whats the chances it got wet, maybe during washing. If so it may have corroded.A far as high speed wobble Mr.Haze, if you have a correct rake and trail high speed wobble shouldn't be a factor.I've had my train over 100mph and it was straight as an arrow. However, I'm not burning up anyone in the "twisties".Think about it, look at the front wheel of a pro stock bike.Skinny as hell.Road racing bike, no rake, fat front tire.Fatboys have a little less rake and a fat front tire, and from what a couple of my buds tell me, they handle great.

I would take it to the dealer rather that trying to swap out parts.

As for the Night Train Vs Fatboy in the twisties, forget the front tire issue, that is not the issue. (as anyone who has scrapped a peg knows)
The lean angle is the deciding factor on the two bikes while the Fatboy has a lean angle of 28/30 degrees (due to the floorboards) the Night Train has a lean angle of 31/34 degrees.

While I think it would still depend on the rider, I'm not about to test out any theories here. I just like to cruise.
