I'm Following this thread closely. Can't wait to see what this project turns out like.
I keep talking myself out of dropping money on new wheels and a new front end but I'm fighting a loosing battle lol. I know eventually I'm gonna give in.
I also want to go with a 23 up front. My 21 up front does nothing for me anymore.
Anyone know how much wider the hhi wide glide trees are than the stock? And does anyone have a link to a good price for them. So far I'm finding them in the ball park of $600.
Thanks guys.
Ps. The wife gave me money for the labriola jockey set up for my birthday!! Now I just have to stop procrastinating and make the phone call to place the order.
Rolling, the project is turning out great. Love the Johnny Cash derby cover. I need to get me some spokes!
Being away from this place for awhile has saved me a bunch of money!
Thanks micahpop. You are exactly right about the money. This all started when I started looking on the forums for ideas for a new set of bars. Just bars! And now 4000$ later I'm still not done! Haha. Gotta love it!
