Default Rocker project

I am starting my winter project a lil early. Started ordering parts today for a project that will completely change my 2011 Rocker from front to back. I was wondering if any of you guys that have lowered your rocker would be willing to give advice on how to lower the back end. I have found the progressive drop ins for the front but not really sure what to go with in the back. I have found a lot of products, some expensive and some not too bad. Just dont wanna pay too much for something I dont need or pay too little for junk! Any info will help. Thanks

Progressive shocks front and rear made a huge positive diff.! Backs were only 385 bucks at DK. WELL worth it! Great setup on mine. I have it lowered 1.5 inches in the rear.
Take note, when you lower it in the rear, the bump stop is too thick. Someone on here gave me the fix...get a bump stop from an 07 softail (5 bucks). Its the same size but thinner. Take the rocker one off and just pull the rubber plugs through the holes and your done. Works like a charm. Ride safe.

Rodzilla, you didn't have a problem with the fender mount bolts hitting the frame on full compression with the thinner bumpstop?

I recall that one person tried that, and ended up needing to put a spacer behind it. Showed pictures of where the bolt heads had hit the frame.

Don't do what I saw on one Rocker, waiting at a dealership to be sorted out,the owner had dropped it so low that the bolt holding down the rear of the seat had worn a deep groove in the back tyre almost to the canvass.

Thanks guys. Rockerz & Hawaii, thanks in advance for the advice. Im glad you guys jumped in here cause I can tell by your bikes and your posts that you know what you are talking about. Im thinking that Im gonna go with the progresisve set up like Rodzilla has suggested. As far as the rest well...where do I start. So far I have ordered a 12" z bar with a set of 4" risers, Narrow band pegs grips and shifter, chrome handlebar controls. This weekend im gonna sit down and order the rest of my list...side mount license plate holder, lowering kit, axle cover, mirrors, and im trying to find a good LED strip light to go under the back fender for a run stop turn. While Im doing all of this Im also taking the fender to get it chopped and the tanks to get them all painted denim black. Already denim black but I can do without the flames! Also thinking of raking out the front end but havent done the research for that yet and Im pretty sure Im gonna order a 23" replica wheel for the front before I am done which I imagine will have something to do with how much rake I should go with.
Thanks for the advice!
