So did you do anything else to get rid of the tire/fender gap or did the tire size take care of that?

The tire height is the same as stock just wider, but I oblonged the upper fender bolts holes which lowered the fender tighter to the tire, approx 1/4"

Rockerz did you also modify the lower fender bolt holes?
Have you any pics of the oblonged upper fender bolt holes, because I also want to reduce the gap between fender/tire?

By the way, I saw you have the “bitchin seat” foot controls.
Do you like them, are they recommendable?

Hey Hd100, thought you vanished from this site, good to see you are still around.

I don't have a pic but quite simple. I used a dremmil bit to oblong the top holes leaving a good 1/4" of meat left on the holes. I didn't do anything to the lowers because of the way they are made. I started the bolts in the lowers leaving them loose, the tightened the tops tight to secure in place then tightened the lowers. I used blue locktite 243 on the bolts so they don't loosen off. I still utilize the rubber wire channel under the fender with an end result of about 3/16" between tire & wire channel. I just just barely fit my finger between tire & fender.

I recommend Rich's controls, especially the brake arm as he has bent it forward so you are not reaching for the rear brake pedal, it's a nice touch. I liked the idea, but wouldn't order one until he made a matching shifter arm. He made it per my request. His stuff is quality.

He is the original, big inspiration for me. (I copied his rear fender idea)

Yes Jo, everything’s perfect here on the other side of the world.
As you see, I’m always on the search for some improvements of my Rocker.

I recommend Rich's controls, ...
Yes I’m still around here, but last winter there was no time for the Rocker, because I did a complete rebuild of my wives Sportster.

I like the idea to oblong the bolt holes, I will definitely try this next winter. The gap is now 3/4“, and I think 1/2 “ should be enough.
Do you have any Link where I can find the Rich's controls, I haven’t heard of them yet.
