Consider leaving enough fender clearance for the way tires deform when they go flat, or there's a blowout.

Thanks guys. Awesome info! For some reason I feel like I need to check out these bitchin controls now. Haha. I ordered the rest of the parts on my list yesterday....or so I thought it was the rest. The wife and I went grocery shopping today and as we were leaving SAMs all it took was for her to say " you wanna stop buy the Harley shop". Yup... Kid in a candy store!! And oddly enough I bought a ton of stuff I didn't even know I needed.
Anyways, thanks rockerz thats a great explanation for fender/tire fix.

While we are all chatting, I've been thinking about powder coating my swing arm black this winter.

What do you guys think, stay Gray or go black?
