Rollin, a set of good shocks from a reputable like progressive will do. Are you gonna be doing solo or 2 up riding? If 2 up I'd suggest Shotgun air suspension. With 2 up, you need to watch the clearance between the fold out seat and or touring strut seat or you will end up with a nice big dent on the rear fender.

I have the Bitchin seat so its all solo for me.Thats kind of another concern I have. If i lower the bike is it gonna throw off how the seat sits on the fender?I also assume that if I want the fender to sit down lower to get rid of the big gap from fender to tire I will have to do some fabricating on the fender mounts which may or may not help with the seat sitn on the fender. It seems like every mod you do to these things takes three more mods just to make it work!
Call rich and ask about the seat issue, that would be the best bet.
As for the tire, are you still using the stock 240?...if so throw a Metz 260 on there and that will take up some under fender space. I think Rockerz runs a Elite 250. Hit him up to see how much space that tire takes up compared to the stock 240
its ok its denium
we can throw on a few red parts and getter up to speed
nice scoot dude
welcome to the nuthouse
Thanks mike. It's a terrible picture of my bike but hopefully I'll have some much better pics once I get it all back together. It's lookin a bit "Sanford & Son" right now!
Rollin I'm sure you will be just fine with your Bitchin seat. I've dropped mine & have no problems, but I did tell Rich it was lowered & the rear fender is tighter to the tire than stock position before i ordered his seat. The Elite 3 has about 3/16" clearance between tire & belt, it's nice & FAT
