Default Another Dissapointing HogDeluxe Thread.

After thinking HogDeluxe forgot about my order w/ no replies...the tool bag and tank pouch finally arrived after 5 months waiting.

Before I opened up the box, I was willing to forgive and forget. Then out comes the disappointment. HogDeluxe didn't follow instruction to match the piping in my C&C seat. It was just a simple stitch...and the leather cuts were nothing special. Any local leather guy could of done the same. And to add...the leather is flimsy with no reinforcement.

While I wrote them off the other month, I ended up getting a Tea-Bags tool bag and a HD tank pouch that sort of matches the seat piping. Which I will be using until I get time to find and sit down with a local guys who can actually do what I want.

Anyways, my buddy gets a free $200gift for his Night Train. I don't feel like dealing with HogDeluxe anymore and moving on.

That sucks. Sorry man, I guess they just don't care about customer satisfaction.

Sorry you had probs with them, but thanks for sharing with us. They were among my top choices for bags so you definitely helped save me some hasslesauce.

Hello Everyone,

I am a worker at HogDeluxe. I would like to extend my Apologies to you all, I want you to know that I am working hard everyday to build this business back to where my dad had it in the beginning, with this recession and lose of a good employee that had to go bad to mexico for housing issues not immigration issues. I would like to let you all know i'm doing my best to fix these mistakes.

Wow 5 months? And it wasnt even correct..... that is adding insult to injury. Have they offered to fix it or are you done with them?

Harley Enthusiast, may I ask why you are commenting now? Why did all of his emails and phone calls go unanswered during his 5 month wait? Is it only because now he has outed you in public? I have no problems going with a person or vendor who works with me and talks to me but to be totally ignored or neglected for that long is just unacceptable and I am sorry if that sounds harsh or rude. People have the choice to go wherever they wish to get a certain product so when they come to you, you should make it worth their while, not to neglect and to **** them off. Ok, you have now explained yourself and I believe in 2nd chances so I would ask others to support you but should you disappoint again then we both look like ****. If you are given a 2nd chance and you blow it again I don't think I have to tell you that that could be that "final nail" in the coffin, at least on this website. If others give you a 2nd chance I hope you make the best of it and if nothing else, and there is an issue just talk to people, be open, upfront and honest with them. That goes a VERY long way in my book. I am currently looking at replacing the leather on my tank and either going with a chrome piece, something custom or a leather tank pouch. I just had all 4 or my seats and both of my backrests reworked with a particular upholsterer and he did a GREAT job and he exceeded and beat his own timeline and he is the one I was going to go with if I decided on the leather tank pouch. Now, if I decide to go with the leather tank pouch, I will give you that piece of business in the hopes that it's done right, the way I want it, in a timely fashion and for a fair price. Good or bad, I will also report here on this site if I made the right or wrong choice in going with you. I think that is a VERY generous offer given the circumstances so please don't leave me kicking myself in the *** for my decision to use you should I go with the tank pouch. In fact, if you wish to comment on my reply but wish to do so in private you can also send me a private message to. I am also thinking of something totally custom too, something that I have never seen done before. If I go with that thought or idea it may be a slight challenge to do but I see no reason why it can't be done. Only you can tell me though if it is something you can or can not do though. An experienced leather worker should have no problem in doing so.

Two years ago I ordered my springer bags and after 4 months I finally received my order. They did follow my instructions and have been enjoying the look and the space the bags offer. They included the an inside detachable pocket for my trouble. I'm sorry to hear of your issues and can't see how HogDeluxe will stay in business with all the negative comments.
