Installed the siren that should have been included with the security system last night. Works perfect. Nice addition. I also purchased the pager fob as well. I know its only a deterrent but I do feel a little more at ease when running into the store or dining at a restaurant knowing that it will notify me when the bike is being tampered with. Pretty cheap addition.

 

You have a choice of siren or no siren when buying a new ride. I got mine with. Works great aslong as fob is at least 10 ft from bike.

 

Fob works great from a distance. You may need to reposition the receiver
Antenna. Maybe it's touching the frame and causing interference. The bike
Comes with the siren for an additional charge but the dealer didn't
Mention anything about it upon purchase. If they did I was probrably

I pre-ordered mine from the factory with the security system. No siren.
I added a Siren II and the replaceable battery remote. The battery drains very quickly, but it picks up the signal from quite a distance.
