Food for thought: I watched seat threads closely for 2 years now and I decided the best way to go was to get my own seat reworked. I had 1 1/2" of the stock foam removed and replaced that with 1" of the gelfoam. I was able to follow the progress and make adjustments as we went, it needed none, and I couldn't be more happy. I seen so many guys go through many seats before they found what they wanted and I wanted to avoid that. Good luck and let us know what you went with and how you like your choice.

Up until a few years ago I always re-worked any seat I had...cutting foam, re-contouring, adding comfort foam to get it just right.

Then I got an airhawk. They are ugly, but super comfortable and you can take it off anytime you want.

As far as HD seats, the only one I have ever had that fit my butt from the factory is the one on my 12 Heritage.
