Who’s owned a La Pera seat and what’s your opion of them. I’m considering purchasing their continental bucket seat. I’m wondering how comfortable their seats are?

Reason: Misspelled word
All depends on the seat you get. Are you getting one to look cool for short trips or something for the long haul. I do not remember the model mine was but it was a low pro solo seat. After 50 miles you could definitely tell it was lacking in the foam department but it served its purpose being a sleek stripped down solo seat for around town riding
I had a day tripper an it was good for what it was intended for....looking good on short rides. that Continental looks comfortable..I have the Maverick an it's great, keeps me low to the ground, has a mini back rest built into the design an nice thick passenger area. So guess I'd say they make a quality seat but not every seat fits everyone's behind.
I ran the "Bare Bones" solo on a Heritage a few years back, and hated it! And I've ridden rigid bikes for years! Maybe it was the way the seat was shaped, but it was terrible. I love the look though, but Id be real hesitant to buy another one of those models.
I was looking across a number of brands for a solo seat. I settled on LePera for a few reasons. I had a great experience working with them re: my interest and their choices / options.
I ordered a custom designed Villan last month - schedule for delivery this Friday (more to come!)
I put a Le Pera on my Springer. I did it for looks, I have other bikes for long-haul rides.....
The quality is very good. The seat pan is solid, the cover is attached with good rivets, the bottom of the seat pan is carpeted to reduce chaffing on the paint, and the cover/stiching appear to be good quality.. It is a heavier seat than OEM. I suspect that is due to the quality of the components used.
It is a firm seat... I find it pretty comfortable. I know there are two basic schools out there on seat comfort.... Firm like a horse saddle, Corbin comes to mind, or more cushion like an air seat or a Harley Hammock. I can speak only of the seat I purchased, but it is on the Corbin, Horse saddle firmness side of things..
I've only had it for about 6 months, not a lot of miles logged on it... but based on the feel and construction... I suspect it will last..

I have an old LePera.....steel pan holds up well, everything is symmetrical, perfect execution. When I need another seat I will be looking at another LePera.
I have never heard of any problems with business practice as well.
Had a LePera Barebones on my Fatboy Lo and have the Daddy Long Legs on my RoadKIng Special. Love them both the Barebones was only good for about 200 miles, the Daddy Long Legs is great for comfort.
