Guys looking to get a Thundermax for my deluxe. Looking to see if anyone one out there that might have any inputs to this system, good or bad. And looking to find a good price on this thing too.
They had a rough run in the beginning but I've had mine for two years without one issue. Been through two sets of cams and a big bore upgrade and no retune. Love it.
I have a PCV from Fuel Moto. They have excellent customer service there. I had a little decel pop after my exhaust install. I got on the horn with Jamie and in about 5 minutes had it worked out and running like a champ.
Have installed thundermax auto-tune for 1 1/2 year now - in the meantime changend stock A/C to high flow and changed exhaust from stock to V&H bigshot staggered. Had nothing to change or do to the thundermax - system adapted = auto-tune
been running the t-max on my wife's 07' deluxe for a few years now , good system for tuning to what you put in , AFR, TIMING ...ETC....it will tune to just that ...what you put in ...then the only other issue is that there are not many ...if any tuner's that can tune it for max power and tq.....so if you are ok w/ not knowing what max power you are making ...then its what you what ....download the map thats closest to your build ...ride at all rpm's...and your good ...

I have a tmax on my limited with Fuel Moto Ceramic headers, Fuel moto pushrods, 555 cams and fuel moto air intake and V&H monstuh rounds. I have had it like that for the past two years and no issues at all. I have a 04 road king with a HD down load V&H true duals, monstuh rounds and Heavy breather and get lot of decell pop and it runs good but not as good as the tmax keeps things in line. I am not wrench just a rider.
