Default +1 on the Daymaker

Install took all of 5 minutes on my FXSTB. The 5 3/4" led is a chit ton better the the stock lamp. Now I can see the reflection of a police car at night from a considerable distance!

Ya their great. There was an earlier thread about how when the Daymaker was installed the head light needed to be adjusted a little lower. Seems that the Daymaker shines higher than the standard bulb.

I love mine. Out here there are no street lights so it helps to see the hogs and deer before they run out in front of you.

I've only been soso impressed. The light leaves a lot of blind spots. Though my Rigid Duallys help make up for it to some extent.

That's cool bro! I just hate the way they look so that would be a no go for me.

I got one for my b-day this week and it installed PDQ. I still haven't rode it at night or even adjusted it, so I can't really say how it works. I did turn it on that night and shined it in the yard. It looked good but riding with it has got to be better than a stock light.

As for the way they look...they remind me of those "eyes" on the robots in the original movie, "War Of the Worlds"!

Another +1

I see there's a new version just come out - http://www.harley-davidson.com/store...11-67700145--1

I think that it looks cool, and the lighting is far superior to the standard incandescent lamp.

As a Daymaker owner (old style, not sure how I like the looks of that new style yet) I sure wish Truck Lite made theirs in a 5 3/4 version. I love mine, but the price and looks of the Truck Lite one are far superior.

I just posted this in another thread a few days ago...:

I was thinking about checking out those new dual halogens they came out with on some of the new '14's...

It looks to be a simple, direct plug-in replacement, and this one will fit a Slim:

They sure look like they'd be better than the stock lamp, and for a whole lot less than the Daymaker...

I find that to be entirely true as I will be lowering mine this evening.
