I believe that's for the active exhaust on the UK models. Could be wrong though.

What the hell is an "active exhaust"?
According to my neighbors my exhaust is active enough

Mine as one as well I don't believe it to be an UK thing. I bought mine in FL.

Seeing both blue and violet wires in there I would guess some sort of aux lighting.

The MOCO put it there to hook up the "water cooling system retrofit kit" (sorry I couldn't help it)

Mine has that too (2013). It should be in the wiring diagram along with a description.
