JD, was as good as his word. The shock arrived Tuesday morning around 10am.

JD, thanks for all you did to get me going!

I was blown away at the response from fellow bikers all around the US that descended on D.C to show support and love to the victims of 9/11 and also say to the radical Muslims and 9/11 Truthers we will not forget the the tragedy of 9/11, we will stand up for our country, and we stand up for our Constitution!

I read a couple articles yesterday on the Million Man Muslim March (named suspiciously changed at the last minute to Million American March against Fear) and one reported 21 showed up, the other reported 25 showed up.

The 2 Million Bikers to D.C. however had much better participation with estimates at 1.2 million bikes!

A couple things I did find interesting was none of the major news media seemed to be reporting on any of this. Miley twerks and it is on every station for several days. Over a million bikes shows up to the nations capital and it's crickets on the national media. As many that participated there were that many or more at overpasses and at home supporting the cause. I read this morning several were watching the DOT camera feeds in the area to, in their own way, support the riders. Apparently no bikers were being seen on the cameras and it was reported that the cameras were showing traffic "reruns" so the bikers would not be seen?

Put the shotgun on my 97 heritage 3 years ago and the bike rides as smooth as my ultra over bumps (still vibrates tho lol) Thought I was going to get off cheap this winter and not do any major mods to my bikes but those bagger air rides got me wanting some of those!!

Yeah the mainstream media is crickets on this ride. Absolutely amazing considering the level of involvement.

I don't know if I'm supposed to put links on here but you guys can search 2 Million Bikers to D.C. on Facebook and they have quite a bit of info ranging from the denial of the permit to interviews. I just listened to a good interview by a film maker on the Huckabee radio show about some of the things he experienced by being a part of the bikers and the ride. Things like a police officer intentionally leading the bikers down a side street and stopping. Very informative.
