I bought it back in 1979 and used it during an engine rebuild but I just don't remember what it is, and there is no markings with brand, part number, etc.

 

That's before my time but I would like to know what it is and what it's used for also.

 

It kind of comical that you have had it so long you don't remember what it's for. You sound like me, I don't get rid of anything.

That doesn't make sense- I bought when I rebuilt my 302 and went with new pistons, so I wouldn't need it.

It doe look a lot like some medieval gynecological instrument! I was 17 when I bought it (1979), so I was crazed over women. It's a perverse possibility.

You guys are right I just googled the scraper and there it was. I must have been given it by someone and just threw it in my toolbox because I was running new TRW 10:5:1 compression pistons.

How did you know? you guys have them too?

Great job, but lets get back to the gynecological theory since it is a hell of a lot more interesting
