I've ordered from them a number of times, nothing but good things to say!

in a thread last week one of the European Forum members said that he couldnt order from the states either. He said it was due to a policy Harley has about double importing. basically they have dealers in those areas that have license to sell HD parts and it would infringe on their contracts with HD to allow US vendors to sell there as well.

and I have bought lots of stuff from Surdyke and have always had good communication, good deals and good shipping.

Thanks for the replies ... I tried to order from Newcastle as well and when trying to register , there is no option for Canada either ... This really bites as the price difference for the things I want is considerable compared to what my stealer is wanting to rape me with ... Flush mount fuel cap at Surdyke is 68 bucks ... my stealer ... 90 plus taxes ...so close to 100 canadian ... I refuse to pay that ....

I ordered a helmet from them. They cancelled the order because it was no longer available.
I had to e-mail them three times to get it credited back to my account. It took them a week to finally credit my pay pal account.

That would suck. I guess since paypal is just kind of making it's way to the major online merchants there are some hiccups. I had a similar circumstance happen to me with J&P Cycles. I ordered something and it wasn't in stock, so when I called to cancel my order, no one had any idea how to refund my paypal. After a long extended phone conversation they finally figured out how, and then it still took three days for my account to get refunded. But it's all good, as more people and merchants start using paypal the kinks will get worked out.
