Just bought '07 Heritage last week, added bars and love the look and feel. Also added set to '07 Fat boy for my buddy and he says he is too short--I'm 5'10" and he is inch or two shorter. He will add pegs and they should be fine. Bottom line is they look great on '07 Heritage
Well, was at dealer again today waiting 5 hours for the limited custom paint being put on.. ____ over priced ____ bleep )) hah (meh photo gallery to see it on)
But anyways got to browse around the 300+ bikes the dealer has
Compared the Mustache Engine Guard to how the highway pegs of a Dyna Lowrider (my first bike) heh well no they don't compare well, mustache keeps ur knees well above the gas can.. very odd at least to me... Looks good tho I guess, could add pegs to it down a few notches but feet will be out wide.
Also ran into one of them grandpa bars, the bike it was on had it in close so wasn't too comfy with my 6'2" frame but you could swing it out more with pegs on each end.. Might work for me at least.
Wonder how a Fatboy with forward controls would be..
Check out the Kuryakyn Ergo-Guards. Lower foot height with flip out pegs when you want them. I like mine, except they are a little close to the brake pedal.
Don't know if you got your mustache guard or not, or if you've decided on one, but I have one I will sell you. It's been on my Deluxe for a few months and had very little use. Looks perfect, I just decided to go with the nostalgic guard. Make me an offer if interested.
