Default mustache engine guard?

Hey wondering if the mustache engine guards for a soft-tail are a good way to get a "highway" peg for a floorboard setup.

Anyone have them? what do you think of em?

Thinking of getting them for my 07fatboy... page:352 of HD 07 parts cat

I have it. Love the look but the rests are too high for me. Puts my knees way over the tank.
I added pegs to it though. I am still happy with the purchase because of how it looks.

That was my primary reason for not getting it, liked the looks but didn't serve me very well as highway pegs because the height it put my knees at.

I have them also and agree the pegs are too high and close, but I do like them there if I want to change positions when riding long trips.

Check out the Kuryakyn Cruise Arm Mark IV. They attach to the frame and are adjustable.

Got'em as well. As stated above, it puts the knees too high...looking at getting a set of pegs to mount to them.

Check out granpas.com. I've got this. Outstanding! Fully adjustable, easily. And while it's not marketed as an engine guard, I wrecked ay 45 m.p.h. and the s.o.b. saved my bike. And Bob, (granpa), made me a nice new one.

It may depend on your hieght and leg length. I'm 5'11" and love my mustache bar. I've tried hiway pegs and found that my legs where to spread out to feel comforatable. With the mustache bar, my feet are capable of activating the rear break or shifting down without removing them from the bar however, I do have to take my feet off the bar to shift up.
