Headlight relay harness for 2012 Fatboy
I'm thinking of getting a headlight relay harness to maximize power
to my headlight. I am also considering going with a higher wattage bulb. The schematic in the 2012 manual indicates that the headlight power is coming from the BCM, not through the switch on the handlebar. My questions are;
1. With 2012 wiring configuration, would I gain anything in installing a relay harness connected directly to the battery?
2. Can the stock wiring and BCM handle a higher wattage bulb?
3. Is the BCM, in effect, acting as a relay?
