I had back, tailbone and shoulder issues. I did SS on back, monotubes on front and that took care of a lot of back pain. I then got apes and had my seat reworked and no more tailbone pain, no more shoulder pain. With those 3 mods I can ride my bike from coast to coast like I was sitting in a Lazy Boy.

Shotgun will allow you to fine tune the ride for pretty much any road condition. If you find that the bumps in the road are too jarring, try to increase the ride height, and soften the dampening. You can make it ride super soft this way. Not the best for taking turns, but perfect on a bumpy concrete highway.

Thanks a ton, guys, for the insight. Seems to be a huge part of a probable solution. Wish any of you guys were close by... it'd be cool to catch up in person, but also great to check out the system face to face, too.

Which switch is the ride height and which is the rebound? I'm thinking for the horn mounting spot, the right switch (towards the rear) is the rebound and the left (towards the front) is the ride height. I've got the rebound pretty much where I went it for general riding but want to lower it when parked and then raise it back up and know the rebound is still where I had it.

I confuse myself knowing which is which. Lol, one switch adds/releases air to one chamber, and the other adds/releases air to the opposing chamber.

I was a little confused by this at first as well, as I was under the impression from reading earlier installation instructions that the front switch controlled height while the rear switch controlled rebound.

It may have been that way at one time but not anymore...

..so I asked JD.
His answer was "both switches can change height, and both switches can change rebound."
Confused yet? I was...
But after JD explained it in more detail it all made sense.

I promised JD a good write-up after winning the last giveaway, so I'm currently working on one on "How Shotgun Shocks work" - complete with diagrams and an explanation of the operation of the switches.
Hopefully it will help clear up some of the confusion - which there seems to be a lot of...

Besides, write-ups on installs have been done to death...

Here's just a couple samples of the diagrams... (far from finished...)
