16" apes on a Deluxe

Anybody out there have 16" apes on their Deluxe? I have a '06 Deluxe, thinkin' about puttin' apes on it. I would like to see a photo of one with 16's on it, and how do you like it, etc. Thanks, Jr.

Got 12.5's (from a Stotail Custom) on the wife's Deluxe. You can see a pic of that on one of her posts... ultrapassenger. That way you can compare. We pulled hers back just a little.

I have kuryakyn 16' chubby apes on my deluxe and they look and feel awesome

Hey, IMHO I would have to tell you that its WAY more important for you to be comfortable riding your bike that worrying about how it looks. I made that mistake when I went to a set of 8" T-bars on my FXST. Looks awesome, rides great in town, and kills your back after about 300 miles. knowing what I know now, I would have gone a different route. However, I really like the look of 16" apes on almost any bike. Just my $.02...

I'm trying to decide between 16" or 18" on my Fatboy. At the local stealer there are 2 brand new Deluxes with 16" Wild1 Chubby apes. They look perfect!
