OK I hopped on my bike this morning to do to work .... It doesn't start. So thinking it's the battery, I grab out my little jump starter. Still nothing. Strange thing is the headlights are still bright. Any ideas what it could be ? I have noticed it's been hard starting lately. Doesn't fire up on the first crank.
I just got off the phone with the dealer. He think I'm out of gas. Quick check ... Nope it has 1/2 a tank still.
Dealer scheduling a pick-up for today or tomorrow.
Update. I called the dealer to get a status update on my bike. Service rep said they won't be able to look at the bike untill OCT 9th ! That's a week and half away !
What year is the bike, is it FI or carbed? If a FI bike, does the fuel pump prime when you switch it on? If not, check your fuses...
I just looked this question up.. He said in a earlier post that he bought it new in 12..
Thinking it should still be under warranty and unless He's had some Elc probs, the battery should be good to go..!!!!..

I had a similar problem with my '07 Fatboy. She would crank but not fire. It turned out to be a blown fuel pump fuse. Changed the fuse and she has been running fine even since. That was over four years ago, a 15 cent fuse was easier than a trip to the dealer and definitely much quicker.
