Gents, looking into something that I am sure has either been tried or at least completed. Contemplating the idea of throwing Hardbags on my scoot. Sort of like FLHT "style" bags not exactly FLHT bags. The main issue I've been considering is the location of my pipes in relation to the bags. My pipes end 1/2 a foot before the rear axle and a little below it. From what I am seeing thats looks like a super close fit, but exhaust heat on bags is a concern. Also has anyone tried to do this that may have some pointers or advice. I do all my own electrical and body work so I don't mind the labor, but rather not do all of it and find out I wasted a few hundred dollars and have to buy true duals in the end.
