Batwig Fairing on Heritage Soft Tail Classic
I have a spare inner and outer fairing that will fit a 2010 Ultra Classic and am thinking about installing them on a 2004 Heritage Soft Tail Classic. I think I can buy the gauges to fill the holes but don't know if they will hook up to a Soft Tail wiring harness. I am good with electrical troubleshooting and would like to know if the speedometer and tack can be wired into the existing harness. I can fabricate all th4e brackets I will need at our machine and sheet metal shop so that is the easy part.

many of those gauges won't have sensors to run them on the Softie. There are plenty that will though. Use what you want, fill what you don't. I would say go for it. Many have used those bats on softies.
