Default Rigid Sideplates Installation question

I purchased a set of rigid sideplates on eBay and as there were no intructions included I have a question I hope someone here can answer.

Should I remove the red reflectors on the fender struts or am I supposed to use a washer or spacer between the sideplates and the strut so that the reflector stays?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Default RE: Rigid Sideplates Installation question

Some are cut out to go over the top of them, otherwise check the mountings. If it mounts against the rail pull them off and put them on the side plates. If they mount away from the rails, like somedetatcable mountingsmaybe you can leave them on.
