would like to see your shotgun setup sometime since u are close to me so I can decide which route to go.
The install on the Breakout wasn't too bad, but the compressor was a bit of a pain installing, since it gets tacked onto the left side shock bolt. It's a tight fit, and you're swinging 19mm wrenches in that space.
I used 3/32" aircraft aluminum, so one bend should hold up fine - since it's mounted to the frame, there should be less vibration. I guess time will tell, eh?
Considering the engine is solid mounted to the same frame, I'm not sure where else it would get more vibration. It may be fine. I just remember from making aluminum brackets for my quads, this was a concern with bends in areas that were not super wide. May not be a problem on the Harley though.
The Breakout has a Rocker coil. I mounted mine above it.
Not the best picture, but you can see the supplied bracket above the coil.
I used a dremel to make a cutout to sandwich the bracket between the coil and coil mount.
Nice ride broth
Where'd ya get yer ignition coil cover?
Who makes it?
Thanks
Anyone besides me having problems with the switches not responding sometimes? When I first installed the system it worked flawlessly. Now I sometimes I have to click the switch a few times to get the shock to function. Seems like it's gradually getting worse each time I ride. The functional integrity of the switch is solid as new. JD sent me a replacement switch, I just haven't had the time to pull the tank and swap the faulty switch out. I'm hoping the switch is the problem, and not a relay somewhere.

I've had the same issue. Before you change them, try this: move the switch into the up or down position then apply a bit more pressure. Apply it up and if that doesn't work, to the left or right. That's what I have to do with mine. I figure the contacts are probably worn on them. It started doing this about two weeks after I got my third shock installed.
