Just ordered a side mount license plate. It has red for power and black for ground. The wiring from the stock license plate LED has 2 black wires. Which is power and which is ground?

It doesn't matter....unless the new bracket has LED's. If so, you've got a 50/50 shot at getting it right the first time. Hook it up...if the lights don't work then swap the wires around. Done.

Mine is a 2018. I just used the wires that were feeding the stock license light. Solder/heatshrink.. The wires run through the left hand strut "internally. Semi- pita.
