Ordered a 16" THV sissybar for the new Breakout. Anxious to see how it looks on it. Almost ordered a Ginz, but I don't think if like the outside of struts mount. They said they would fan me an inside mount if I dropped the bike off, but I didn't have time to ride to Cali from Ohio. Lmfao...
If I like it, I'll order a chrome one for the RK too.

I normally ride with it aired up. If I’m bar hoping I’ll keep it slammed. Never had any issues with scrapping under 55mph hour. If you’re in the twisties you may...

Can’t seem to find a docking hardware kit that fits 2020 BO. Recommendations?

It was a toss up between the BO and Street Glide... Maybe I should just buy both. Life goals are important

...two is one, one is none

What did you finally decide to do about the tuner?
So there's two questions...
1) Does changing the tune from what H-D builds the bike with void the bikes warranty?
2) Can H-D techs tell if a guy switches tunes back & forth - like from H-D tunes to V&H tunes and then back to original H-D tunes?

Everyone seems to agree that changing the tune voids the bikes warranty. I got a problem with that. Say I change the tune, OK? Then, 2 weeks, 8 months, however long down the road, the right taillight blows and the replacement won't come on. The socket is dead. You're gonna tell me that because I changed the tune on the engine, that now the warranty on the rest of the bike is void? That's BS. My answer would be - show me how changing the engine tune affects the rest of the bike. Fix the f'd up crap on the bike or I'm gonna go out in the parking lot and start running my suck at level 10 about what a bunch of sideways crooks y'all are at this sh!thole dealership... and then tell 'em you'll be back tomorrow with Karen, lol ....we all know one

Y'all ever heard of the Magnuson-Moss Act?

I opted to just go with the HD Screamin Eagle tuner. Spoke with the service dept at HD dealer who said they can see every time the tune has been modified and whether it was an aftermarket tuner. Eh, I’ll just suck it up and have it dyno tuned. Gonna have to find a dyno place near Tampa, because HD charges $450 to do it.

Wanting to get mine powdercoated so I'll need to disassemble as much as possible. That being said, are the handlebar riser bushings easy to remove? What about the steering stem...? Does that come out easily? I assume that it's press fitted...so probably not...?

Also, what about the lower fork tube caps/rings? Not sure why they made the lower forks black, but then put chrome caps/rings on them...

The steering stem you will need a press to remove.

The riser bushings are 2 pieces pressed together. So buy new poly bushings and you can pull the old rubber ones out with pliers and screwdriver if you like.

I only took my fork lowers off to install new race tech springs and Ricor Intiminators, which is a total game changer. My bike is a completely different ride now.

My point is, if you’re just powder coating the triple trees, you can leave the forks intact and save yourself a bunch of work. You can replace the dust caps with any 49 MM dust cap you find. None of them will say they fit your bike but they all do.
