Don't get me wrong i like all springers.
I just never studied the real difference between a bad boy and the fxsts.
not any difference in rake I can see between the 04 FX and the 96.The classics have about 3* less rake.Very noticable.
Katienadine you get what you pay for with Bad Boy's or any other bike. I paid 6400. for mine with 50k and signs of wear from being rode. That bike above that Dan is looking at is as pristine as it came from the factory. At least it was when I saw it a couple years ago. Most in that condition go for more.

BadBoys went 95, 96, and 97. 96 and 97 lose the front fork speedo cable but other than that and some color combos they are the same.
That's a really nice one...I'd love to own one and think it's a good buy it at that mileage if it is as clean as the photos in person. For a bike that old, she was barely ridden.
They aren't getting any cheaper and are pretty hard to find in original condition.
IMHO they are becoming very collectable and a good investment...and are just bad *** to boot.

Add to that the ECM went to the rear fender in 96.95 rear fenders have no cut out.
Seems like 95-97 were the years of production with '97 having limited production. Some varying numbers as to numbers made and years made. Still would love to have the one I saw but wouldn't t sell my scoot to get it.
Cool looker but springer softails are rough riding from what I've heard.
Not really. Gonna shake a little as all evos do (compared to the silky smooth TCb). Ain't bad at all. I've toured on my 1994 and on a 2013 FLHTC. I'll take the Springer over the bagger any day. She'll runs the twisties like she's on rails.
Oh and NOTHING Screams Harley like a Springer front end.
