So I finally get a new solo seat, the Brawler, for my FXSTC. Looks fantastic. Almost a whole new bike. But.... after an hour ride today, I'm missing the funny looking King/Queen seat. Spent 6-8 hours on it during Bike Week last week and might as well have been on my sofa. I'm all for looks, but the comfort thing may win out.
I bought a Corbin Dual Tour last summer. It was extremely comfortable, but I hated the way it looked on my bike so I took it off after about 2 weeks. $700 down the drain. [:@] But I ebayed it and got some of my money back at least.

Buy a slab of GelTek padding and have a local upholstery shop replace your stock padding with it... then you won't want to ride on your two up seat any more.
Take the Brawler back if you can.
It's a very narrow design for all day riding.
I was having a lot of trouble with the plastic pan flexing and hitting the strut causing the seat to split.
Look ata LePera Silouhette Deluxe solo. I just received mine, and it's night and day.
It's wider, all steel pan, more spine support, a lot more padding, and it has a little more style IMO.. .
Pricey though. Mine is all leather w/ stitching. Almost $500.00, but worth every penny.
As soon as I get my new wheels mounted, I'll post new pics.

I did the exact same thing. I lucked out because there was a flaw on my Corbin's fitment, and they took it back.
Man, it was ugly.
I bought one of those cheap and ultra ugly Sundowner seats from Harley for a couple hundred bucks. I use it for when my kids want to ride, and then back in the shed it goes.
Thanks for the feedback. As I look through the threads about seats, I find that alot of you have two seats. One for around town, bike nights, etc. and one for longer trips. Since changing only takes a few minutes, I think I'll do the same.
I have two seats, but I never use the Sundowner. In fact, I'll sell it for first $150.00. Used for 10 minutes.
I just can't mount an ugly stuffed two-up seat on my FX.
If the brawler isn't getting it done, and you like a solo, bring it back and upgrade because you'll use the solo 99 9/10% of the time..
