Never had any issues, actually most of the cops ride.
Just going by what I have heard. Several friends of mine have been ticketed going through downtown newport. These are older guys with not overly loud pipes, not being obnoxious or anything........there are several signs IIRC about the noise ordinance in Newport.

No worries, I didn't take it to mean anything. Yes they do have signs posted but don't know anyone and hardly see anyone pulled over. Some of my friends have straights and no problems. Guess they hope the signs turn people away (kind of dumb in a tourist town)

kozy, those pictures, that's your bike and in those pictures is that the 18"/16" wheels and tires setup? Also anyone...do they still make those 16" WWW tires that has Harley Davidson in black on the WW's and do those come in 18" too, IF you can still get them?
I have an 18" front with the 16" rear and the handling is awesome. They say that a 21" decreases the handling so be aware also an 18" with a metzler 130/70 wrap still fits under the stock skirt.
