Your question didn't disturb me, sorry if you took it that way. I'm not sure what I thought problem would be, maybe electrical short or crossed wires. Like I said I just got the bike, and was trying to determine if everything is the way it should be. Only reason for thinking it was a problem is the not so clean installation of the other components (power commander and heated grips). I haven't had the opportunity to take it apart yet but will let you know what I discover.
No harm, no foul. The reason may not be easy to see. As I recall it only involved replacing one segment of wiring, under the seat between the front controls and the wires going to the rear lights.
There may be nothing to see unless you have a stock scooter to compare the wires involved in passing power to the turn signals/brake.

Well, I took the seat off today to inspect everything and based on the instructions provided by nomadmax I do not have a module installed. I also contacted the guy I bought the bike from to confirm and he said he never put one on.
Now that red lenses are on order it's not really a problem, but the situation is that they do not work as running lights only brake and turn. Not overly concerned but would like definitely like to figure the whole thing out.
Looking at your location it could be that the bike is an international model. Maybe they have the brake light wired into the rear signals.
Do this:
Turn in the ignition
Switch on the left or right turn signal
Apply the brake
Does the turn signal side flash as it's supposed to?
Does the other turn signal still act as a brake?
If it does, either it was designed that way or the guy you bought the bike from is completely unaware of what's been done to the bike. Either way, you're good. Get those red lenses and ride!

Well they work as they should just not as running lights which is ok with me. They still blink while brake is applied and other stays lighted. Thanks for all the help with this one.
