Both bolt to the heads and have mounting brackets on the frame and the same O2 sensor mounts so the time should be about the same. If you have just a little bit of mechanical ability and the basic mechanic tools, 3/8 drive socket set, SAE wrench set and a set of screw drivers, you can install the pipes. We like the Bassani as they are not as loud as the V&H, they hurt the ears, but have that nice DEEP rumble when at idle and cruising but they do BARK when you get on the throttle and you won't look like everyone else who has the V&H's.

JMHO, don't limit yourself to just VH or Bassani, as there are a lot of good 2-1 pipes out there. BUB, Freedom, Rush, Drago, Supertrapp, and RB Racing to name a few. Cobra is also a good exhaust and is made by VH.

After some more research and consideration, I have settled on getting the Bassani Road Rage exhaust. I'm hoping to have it installed by the end of next week. I'll let you know how it turns out.
