SOFTAIL MINI BACKREST
It looks to be basically the same thing as Harley's stock sissybar and mounting for a Deuce. The difference is that the stock on on the Deuce has even less fender area to support it - andthey work just fine. So I 'd have to guess that the one you show in your picture, with a much larger area to supportit, should work with no problem at all. I have to say, it really looks nice too.
And trust me, that fender is much sturdier than a stock fender. It weighed 22 pounds and is 1/4 inch thick on the sides and 1/8 down the middle.

i got the short back rest, and also the weird luggage rack, that comes out of the back of the seat... i get the bike tomorrow, and will post a pic of it all together... was about 250 for the back rest, small cushion, and the luggage thing (looks like a spatula to me)... i ride my own bike, the back rest probaly isn't comfy for 2 upping... i just need some space to carry stuff, and that seemed like a good start... i'm not sure about putting bags on the bike??? any bag suggestions???
Got the bracket on ebay for $99, had it powdercoated black. The upright is form 03 and earlier sportsters. Found that on ebay used with the pad and had it powdercaoted to. The girfriend loves it.
