Default Tools for 6 speed

Sorry I have not responded to questions regarding the install of the Screaming Eagle 6 speed gear set. This went in my 03 silver/black Fat Boy. Again the gears go for $1999 and the tools you need besides our regulars are as followed:
1. Mainshaft bearing race tool $160
2. Pulley locker $ 95
3. Transmission pulley sprocket
locknut socket $110
4. Main drive gear tool $200
-------
$565 total

You absolutely have to have all these tools or forget it. All these are "JIMS" products and I ordered mine through Dennis Kirk
and by the way the people at Dennis Kirk were good and fast. Of course there are many other tools needed but most of us have
a fair collection. Again, I am sorry I have not sat down and figured out how to post my photos and steps I took however I do plan on doing something in the "Do it yourself" section once I figure it out. In the meantime if anyone has other questions about the 6 speed feel free to ask. You know I really do need to figure out how to post pictures because my Fat Boy is sooo nice. Mark

In the message screen you'll see "Click here to upload!" in blue. Click it..
A window pops up saying "Select a file to upload".
You'll see 5 blank spaces and a button next to each that says "Browse...". Click it.
Go to the folder where your pictures are. (you can change the view to thumbnails to see what they are to pick the right one)
Pick the ones you want.
Click "Ok"
Back at the main message screen check the box next to "Embed picture in post" if you want the picture to show up as a thumbnail image in the message or just as an attachment.
That aughta work.

I just tried to do what you said and my files are to big. What I think is happening is I shot the bike with my new Sony 8 mega pix
camera and ned to go back and down town the pix to 3.2 or 2 mega pix to get the file not so big. I shot the entire 6-speed install
with the setting on 8 mega pixel so I guess I need to figure out how to change it to a smaller file. THANX, Mark

Mark,

You might be able to resize the photos you already have with your picture viewer. I have the Microsoft Office Pic Mgr and it takes all of 10 seconds to shrink 'em. I'm sure your picture viewer has the same capability...

Once you shrink them (reduce their file size), they should upload.

OBTW, what do you want for those assorted tools now that you're done with them??
