SIX SPEED INSTALL DONE.
I finally got all the tools together to install a Screaming Eagle six speed in my 2003 Fat Boy and BOY am I happy!
Not only does the extra gear make me so happy, the shifting is like butter. I wrote down every step and photo'd the
process to remember all it took. The only thing is I had to add 4 new tools to my collection and the total cost was a bit
painfull but every time I go for a ride I feel it was the best money spent as of yet.

How long did it take? well...I put it at about 10 hours. Just getting to the trans takes a good chunck of time and then you need to
make a small modification to the case. Swapping the gears was fairly quick, however, its the getting everything done in the right order that has things going slow. The gear set goes for 2K and another 5 hundred in the correct tools. I can list all the tools and go into this more if anyone would like. Maybe go over to the "do it yourself" Forum. Its funny, I have done over 100 things to my silver
and black Anniv Fat Boy but I cannot figure out how to post any pictures. I guess I need to slow down and read other forums for the
directions for photos. Again I cant say enough about how smooth the six is and how peacefull 80 mph can be. Please, if anyone
has any questions fire away....Mark

I think a six-speed gearset install website or diy thread with a very detailed and photo'd step by step would be absolutely awesome!
Possibly a good colaborative work from a couple pro's like yourself.
A great DIY read, right up there with the cam swap and stage 1 kit pages I've seen.
