Default how do i remove fuel rail to get to injectors?

Trying to replace stock injectors for a littler more flow. I know - get a service manual. Dealer does not have one in stock and I need to swap out injectors for a tune next week, so I could use a little help, please. I searched and I found a few posts about pulling tank, etc. I pulled tank, intake, unplugged connectors, removed fuel rail bolts, but do not know how to remove fuel rail on top of injectors. No post I found on removing injectors even mentions the fuel rail, which I don't understand, since you cannot get injectors out with it in way. I assume you have to remove the clips from the top of the injectors that connect to the fuel rail. I would really appreciate any tech help in removing the clips/fuel rail. And I promise I will get a service manual asap. Thanks.

I am new to the forums and I just came across your post about removing the fuel rail. I have to do the same thing on my '01 FLSTCI to get at the fuel injectors. How did you do it? I was going to remove the entire induction module because the shop manual makes it sound easy, but I can't get at the 4 allen screws holding the intake manifold flanges. So, before I unscrew the 2 fuel rail screws, I figured I would ask somebody who has experience with it. Yours is the only post that comes close to what I need advice on.

I put new injector sets in two engines last year. It was easy but then the engines were on my bench. Access is the key.

Wobble head allen wrenches will help with the four screws holding the manifold in. Get the manifold out and everything else is easy. Just looking at it in your hand will tell you the steps needed.

I agree with OldEnuf about the service manual. That is the first thing I bought when I bought the bike. Section 9 goes into great detail about EFI. It does seem that when it talks about anything related to the induction module, e.g. fuel injectors, the assumption is that the engine is off the bike.

I am looking to get at the injectors with the engine on the bike if possible. Bike is an '01 FLSTCI.

FWIW,
I removed the top engine mount bracket and that gave me the access that I needed.

Why all the posts about the service manual in this thread? Is it an auto response to OP?
I bought the hard copy Service Manual (Part number 99482-01A) and the Parts Catalog (Part number 99455-01) from the H-D dealer way back in 2000 when I bought my bike.
